Good Evening Roosevelt International Middle School Families:
Dr. Casillas here with your weekly school update.
Last week was a great week with our 6th and 7th graders talking about global connections in their Service Learning Advisory Activity and our 8th graders met their Community Project Supervisors. Our students will be meeting in this Advisory class periodically this school year.
Students who have demonstrated Roosevelt PRIDE by attending school on time everyday will be awarded with a special treat this week. Good attendance matters! Those who need to make up attendance will be assigned Saturday School beginning this Saturday.
The California Assessment of Student Progress and Performance (CAASPP) Individual Student Results (ISRs) will be mailed home to families starting the week of October 12. These results will include Smarter Balanced Tests and CST/CMA Science and the CAPA/CAA for those eligible students. Tuesday October 13th Make-Up Picture Day.
PTSA General Meeting is this Wednesday September 14th at 6:00 pm with our Annual Title I Meeting beginning at 5:00 pm.
Great California Shake Out is this Thursday. All schools will be participating in a district-wide earthquake drill.
Sunday the 18th is our Annual PTSA Trick or Trot run…lace up those sneakers, put on your costume and see you there!
And Save the Date…Back to School Night is on Tuesday October 20th.
Just a reminder to turn in theFederal Survey Impact Aid Card. It is important that we receive a card from every student to help bring in federal funds.
