Roo-Weekly Update 10.12.15

Good Evening Roosevelt International Middle School Families:

Dr. Casillas here with your weekly school update.

Last week was a great week with our 6th and 7th graders talking about global connections in their Service Learning Advisory Activity and our 8th graders met their Community Project Supervisors.  Our students will be meeting in this Advisory class periodically this school year.

Students who have demonstrated Roosevelt PRIDE by attending school on time everyday will be awarded with a special treat this week. Good attendance matters! Those who need to make up attendance will be assigned Saturday School beginning this Saturday.

The California Assessment of Student Progress and Performance (CAASPP) Individual Student Results (ISRs) will be mailed home to families starting the week of October 12. These results will include Smarter Balanced Tests and CST/CMA Science and the CAPA/CAA  for those eligible students. More information about this assessment can be found on our district website. https://www.sandiegounified.org/2015-caaspp-testing-results-information
