Roo-Weekly Update 11.2.15

Good Evening Roosevelt International Middle School Families:
Dr. Casillas here with your weekly school update.
Congratulations to Mr. Mosler’s for winning the Red Ribbon Week Door Competition. His students decorated their classroom door to promote a healthy and strong mind. The month of October ended with a fun Halloween lunch Thriller and Ghostbusters dance by our ASB.
This Tuesday-Thursday, November 3-November 5 is a modified day schedule. School will be dismissed at 1:24 for parent conferences. If your student is not participating in a Prime Time activity, please make arrangements for afterschool. There will be no late buses on those days.
Teachers and counselors are making contact with parents for conference. If you would like to schedule a conference, please contact your student’s teacher as spots are filling up.
We are almost at 100% for the LCFF and Federal Survey Cards. We are missing about 190 cards each. Please help us achieve our goal and get those cards into the office. Ms. Murphy can provide you with a new card if needed.
Just to let you know, next Wednesday, November 11th, school and district offices will be closed in honor of Veteran’s Day.
School Tours have begun for families interested in enrolling at Roosevelt for next school year. If you know of future Rough Riders, have them sign up at our website under School Tours.
Have a great week of learning Rough Riders. Always do your best by working hard and making good choices.
Until next time, good bye and good night.
